Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Silken Threads, we strive to provide the highest quality products and excellent customer service. Please read our policy carefully before making your purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are only applicable to Ready-to-Ship items purchased online within Canada.

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds:

  • Custom-ordered outfits
  • Made-to-measure or custom-sized outfits
  • Pre-order items
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Jewellery and accessories
  • All in-store purchases, as customers have the opportunity to inspect and try on garments before purchasing.

Our return policy lasts 3 days from the date your order is delivered. If more than 3 days have passed since delivery, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
  • Be in its original condition with all original tags attached.
  • Be returned in its original packaging.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Items showing signs of wear, makeup, perfume, deodorant stains, damage, alterations, or missing tags will not be accepted.

Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email that we have received your returned item.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing times can vary.

Sale Items

Sale, clearance, promotional, and discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you received the incorrect item.

To request an exchange, please email silkenthreads.ca@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order, including your order number and photographs of the issue.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and packaging so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order.

After 24 hours, orders may have entered processing and cannot be cancelled. If a cancellation is approved after payment has been processed, any non-refundable payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund.
